Damn I hate spring and fall…I go from feeling great one day to allergies kicking my ample derriere.

I heard there was some kind of football thing going on this weekend…

Russell goes to Oakland and in other news, the sun will rise tomorrow! This was a good pick for them; it was either him or parlay the spot into multiple choices…which didn’t seem likely. Moss goes to the Pat’s for a 4th round pick. I’m going to go ahead and crown the Pats right now…they’ve made some bold moves and barring injury will be Superbowl champs.

Detroit picks another receiver. The best player in the draft for sure…but who’s going to throw him the pig skin?

The browns hit the freaking jackpot. They were able to pick up a solid left tackle and then Quinn @ 22 (or there about). They surrendered their first round pick in next year’s draft for him…a good call on their part imo. I think everyone in the free world is shocked the ‘fins passed on Quinn. While I don’t think he’ll be a Marino…I do think he’ll prove stable and reliable.

The Bears came out of the Jones trade a little better then before the draft. They were able to trade their 2nd round selection for multiple later selections. I still think Jones was worth a 2nd straight up or a trade a 2 and a 4th. Briggs is a bear for now…at least if he signs his contract he is. Absolutely no one calling should show him what he’s worth…lets go back to the table and hammer this one out boys.

Not really any other excitement from the draft. Let training camp begin!

In other sports….I saw during the Nets/Raptors game that Jason Kidd is now tied for 2nd on the career playoff triple double list. He has caught Larry Bird at #2 with 10….he passed Dr. J with 9….and still trails quite possibly the greatest player to ever lace up sneakers. A man who could…would…and did play every position his rookie year in the championship game to lead his team on to victory. A man that was snubbed for rookie of the year…a man who’s smile lights up a room. The one…the only….Ervin “Magic” Johnson…who has 30. Noticeably absent from that list is his airness…Mr. Jordan. I’m sure he had the points…I’m sure he had the boards…but he just couldnâ??t give up the rock.

Dear Annie…

I read these two moron’s giving advice in the Forum most every week day….I’m going to start correcting their dumbasses….

Letter: Dear Annie: We live next door to my husband’s brother, “Kevin.” Kevin feels free to borrow anything of ours, and nothing is off limits. He never asks permission and rarely brings things back unless we demand it. He comes into our home and takes flour and sugar, frequently emptying whole canisters. He never refills them.

I looked out the window one morning to see Kevin walking to his house with the gas tank from my grill, and watched him hook it up to his own and use it until it was empty. I had to retrieve it to refill it. When we are out of the house, Kevin will get my teenage son to open the door so he can rifle through all our cupboards, cabinets and drawers. He will come to our house without his cigarettes and smoke half a pack of my husband’s.

Kevin is not destitute. He lives in a very expensive home and has more income than anyone in the family. And as if this isn’t enough, Kevin will show up at our house at all hours, frequently after midnight, because he can’t sleep.

My husband refuses to say anything to Kevin and will not allow me to speak up, either. I have dropped very heavy hints, but Kevin acts like he doesn’t hear me. My husband says if he ever needed help, Kevin would be there. This may be true, but I feel invaded by Kevin and do not enjoy living in my home.

My husband knows Kevin is out of line, but he won’t confront him. This is causing huge fights between us. Please help. â?? In Need of Pest Control in Illinois

Their answer: Dear Pest Control: Because your husband won’t set boundaries on Kevin’s behavior, he has allowed his brother to come between you. Insist that your husband put your feelings first, and if he refuses, it’s time to talk to a counselor or your clergyperson, to help him see that Kevin is undermining your marriage.

The correct answer: Dear Selfish Dumbass…there is no reason for you to be trying to break these two brothers apart. They are obviously very close and your insistent bitching is going to do nothing but drive a wedge between you and your husband. If you don’t want him in the house when your gone…tell the kid not to let him in. Bro’s before Ho’s…step off

Letter: Dear Annie: In the past, my child’s high school team voted for captains and co-captains of their sports teams. My child and his friends were excited about voting.

One parent phoned and asked if my child was going to vote for his child. I mentioned that my child was also going to run for the position. Two weeks later, this kid and one other were appointed to the positions. No elections were held.

I am shocked that a coach would deny the team the opportunity to vote for the people they respected to be captains. When questioned, the coach said, “I didn’t think anyone else was interested.”

Should I not have told this parent that my child was running for the position? â?? Bewildered Parent

Their answer: Dear Bewildered: The coach should not have eliminated the elections, regardless of who was running. Although nothing underhanded may have occurred, you still should register a complaint with the principal so it doesn’t happen again.

The correct answer: Educate your child about leadership. Merely winning an appointment hardly entitles anyone to the captain role. Have the kid play hard, lead by example and help the team… it looks like you might also need some leadership classes. Such a shame people can breed without a license.

Hawking will be taking his zero G flight today. Anytime he’s pictured on T.V. or there’s an article about one of his brilliant theory’s people ask “what torture it must be to have that mind in that body”. I disagree…while it would suck for sure, he still has the freedom of his vast intellect to explore what would be his life’s work anyway. What is truly torture is being a truly stupid person…free to roam and breed…but not understand the depths of your own stupidity, being limited by what your small mind is able to conceive.

It is they who’s suffering is greater then that of Hawking…yet ignorance keeps us in bliss.
