BISMARCK (AP) – Students at North Dakota’s universities are arguing in the Legislature about whether state law should allow people to carry concealed weapons on campus.

IMO state law should allow people with a CCW to carry anywhere.  Obviously, there are people everywhere that will dispute this and arguing this subject never gains any ground.  From my experiences, people feel strongly about guns and their right to carry them as they do about religion.

It is worth noting, the only people that are effected by this is those that abide by the law.  If someone is going to shoot another person or group of people, the “law” is going to have very little impact on them.  I really don’t like it when CCW is specifically tied to guns, knives can be considered a concealed weapon and in some places mace is even considered a concealed weapon.

So I’ve been reading some on Glock Talk forums.  Mainly about reloading, but I’ve been reading some of the other stories about “what made you carry” and so forth as well.  It’s been somewhat interesting.  I saw one post on there about a guy looking for a .22 Cricket.  For those two lazy to follow the link, it’s a short single shot .22.  It’s designed for kids and is of a good weight and length for them to learn proper technique and safety.  Seeing that article made me remember that I haven’t posted any thoughts about the one my folks picked up for the little monster.

I used to shoot quite a bit.  After moving to town and finding one low paying shitty job after another I’d seen my time in the field get to be less and less.  I wasn’t able to take off time from work, and I wasn’t really able to afford the gas or other things needed to shoot properly.  It’s only been in the past couple years that I’ve finally got a decent job, so I started to break back in to the hunting shooting hobbies that have been pushed to the side in the interests of…well, food and rent.  I’ve been with the woman and kid for 2 years prior to this, so it’s taken some effort to break the wife in to the November routine.  Apparently the idea of a man taking off for a week and not hearing anything from him for 1-2 weeks doesn’t appeal to her…how weird. Trade Tom Brady. You are a team that has made a living out of not being attached to any one player. You are a team that has shown the rest of the league that scouting and a solid system being in place are more important than any single individual. You showed us last year that it’s not the player that has made your team by going 11-5 with a QB that hasn’t started since high school. No player comes back the same after an injury to their legs. There are enough teams around the league that drink from the Brady fountain that you would get a good amount of picks.

Continue to show everyone how its done and that the system reigns supreme. Trade Brady and continue to be a power house with the next QB in the stable.
